It’s nice to be one of those lucky dog owners. The kind who’s pup love’s nothing more than to get in the car and go. But let’s be sensible, not every traveler is perfect and some can be pretty finicky. When it comes down to it, our sensible side also knows it’s best to keep Fido restrained while driving – for his safety and the safety of others.
Inspired by a dog run, the Auto Zip Line™allows back and forth plus sit and stand movement, but also provides security for those unexpected driving moments we’d rather not think about. A smooth running machine, this harness, leash and zip-line system make it super easy to get on the road with your pup. The leash easily connects and disconnects from the zip line when getting in or out of the car…which means instant transition from vehicle restraint to walking lead (yeah, we think of everything).
The Auto Zip Line is endlessly versatile and can be used between any two fixed points in a vehicle. Here is a happy and safe solution for everyone who agrees it’s more fun to make the trip together.

Very well made, and, my dog loves it. I was using the muzzle type harness, but, on hot days, my dog wasn't able to fully cool off, because he could not open his mouth wide enough. He now stands still while I put on the harness, rather than me having to chase him around the house. Great product!!

The concept and the zip line setup is wonderful, but the plastic ring on the harness broke. Who uses a plastic ring for the leash/line to attach to?????? High risk for dog loss. Fortunately, the dog it was on was not a flight risk, but others of my dogs are. Will keep using zip line, but threw the harness away.
Kurgo Responce:
Dear Stella,
Thank you for the feedback and information regarding you Auto Zipline. The harness that you have with the plastic ring was produced briefly in 2007 and was recalled for the issue you pointed out. All of the slides and D-rings on our current harnesses are stamped steel and tested to meet the rigors of auto use. Please give us a call and we will happily replace your harness.
Thanks,
Kitter

My dog and I just drove 4,152 miles from New York to California, and we used the Auto Zip Line to restrain him in the backseat.
There were a couple of times when we braked suddenly, and this product did a good job of keeping him safe.
I liked the fact that my very tall 70-lb dog was able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably - absolutely crucial when travelling up to 10 hours a day!
Travel can be stressful for a dog, but by the 2nd day, putting on the harness was a reassuring part of our dog's routine - he stepped forward to put the harness on, because he knew that meant that he was coming too!
A great product at a great price.
