We have had our hammock for 2 years now and I love it as we have a Bulldog and on trips she drinks lots of water and loves to look out the windows. Water she spills never gets on the seats as it is waterproof and a couple of times when we have had to suddenly break the hammock keeps her from falling off the seat. We bought a second one for our Jeep. Easy to remove and clean.

I really like this wander hammock. It works well and the waterproof feature is fantastic. My only suggestion is that is needs to be wider to cover the entire seat. This product is being used in a full size four door Dodge Ram and the width when installed doesn't cover the entire bench seat.

I got what I ordered. My dog hasn't been in the car yet but this isn't my first hammock. I'm still on the prowl for the perfect hammock. I have yet to understand why anyone would need velcro or zippers for seatbelts. It's a dog hammock, not a seat cover for people. If you actually put a dog back there, then there is hair that no one wants to sit in...on top of the dirt from the dogs paws. All these openings do is allow dirt to get in the crease of your seats and be nasty. Why can't someone make a hammock that has reinforced padding and protection for your seat so that no dirt goes through the fabric, with no zippers or openings for seatbelts. At least make it an option to not have seatbelt openings. It also needs to have a place for the PVC piping to slide between seat so the hammock doesn't slide around. I like that this hammock has a bungy to keep it down on the sides, but lets do this right, make it sturdier. That bungy won't last long. It should also be waterproof...and would be if it was reinforced to keep hair and dirt off of your seat under the hammock!! We are clearly willing to pay the cost for a nice hammock, espcially with options. The zipper for front of the hammock that is between the front two seats is nice. If I need to get something from the back floor board this is helpful. Otherwise, for 60 bucks I guess this is what you get. I thought I would try it and see if the velcro is better for keeping dirt out than zippers. I may just alter it myself. It not as sturdy as I thought it would be, not thick at all.

A little wider for truck would be a great option. Plastic tube pieces etc would be great to keep form sliding on the back of seat. The ones you can tuck in between the top and bottom of the seat. . It does not slide much but would think it would help. Next make the water bottle that comes with the bag a dog functional one. This is me being picky but I am extremely please with the hammock.

This hammock fit great in our Avalanche, and our 17-yr old, 40-lb dog had a really comfortable ride on our 1300 mile road trip. Love the durable fabric and ease of installation; have recommended this product to numerous friends.

Kurgo's Wander Hammock has been a good buy for us. We have two 75lb dogs and live in the rainy Pacific Northwest. You can imagine the mess from paws and visits to the river without this hammock. Three benefits that made this right for us: 1) Can be used in cars with or without removable headrests. 2) It can be used as just a seat cover. 3) As a hammock, it keeps our dogs from trying to stand between the front seats. A bonus: It can be zipped back for a human passenger. We had one ring pull out, but I think I can sew it back on.

I reviewed before. Gave it 4 stars because it had a small tear. As there have been no more tears I am sure I threw some tools on it or something else sharp. I have 37000 miles on my truck and the dog has been in the hammock for probably 32000 of them. The dog is comfortable, the back is clean. (My last truck had about a pound of sand and lots of dog hair under the seat at every cleaning.) Kurgo must have changed the clips because mine are adjustable and sturdy.

I have a Nissan Sentra, and I don't have back seat headrests (they're just humps). This hammock would be awesome, BUT if you don't have a back seat headrest, this product is not for you. PLUS the clips are plastic and don't even stay clipped! I tried to make this thing work, and the clips kept un-clipping! And I didn't even have the weight of my dog on it! The hammock doesn't even stay up, it just unclips and falls down. I'm returning it. It's not worth the price or the hassle. I wanted this to work, and I tried to make it work, but it's just poorly construed. Good idea though.
