I love my door guards & haven't had any issues with them - the person who complained & gave 2 stars probably could've thought a little to make their experience better. Since others have already said how honestly great the guards are, I'll just respond to the bad review:
If the plastic clips don't go in, simply shift the whole door guard to either side by a little (mine was about an inch) to put it in a spot where there isn't something blocking. One of my clips wouldn't fit, so I cut it to smaller & it only sits in the plastic trim - still works fine. I've had no issues with my factory tinted windows - after 6+ months of putting them up & down with my guards on, the only mess is dog drool.
There are pockets on the guards which can be used to weigh it down. Personally, I think it's common sense to do something to secure the flaps if there's going to be a 40 mph wind going through your vehicle. I actually put some $3 adhesive velcro on back of mine & stuck that to door panel carpeting, so no issues with it ever accidentally moving.
These are a fantastic product & a wonderful idea. They're saving the back of my car from dog drool & dirt!

I LOVE this product & will buy them for every car I own. Before using these door protectors, I had to spend a lot of time & effort getting the drool/dirt cement-like mess off doors that my dogs lean on. Now, I just whip off my fantastic door & seat covers - no cleaning needed to get my back seat suitable for humans!
These door protectors are simple to install & work beautifully. I had no problem with any shifting or moving as someone else mentioned, but I applied some adhesive velcro on the back to secure them & prevent any possibility. I have an SUV with longer doors & my dogs lean forward in weird positions, so I also grabbed a few $$ of matching canvas to extend the bottoms. These protectors were great as sold & will work well for most cars as they arrive. I can't recommend more highly!

I have a Great Pyrenees that goes everywhere with me. He loves to get treats from his friends during our travels, thus leaving a lot of slober and cookie drool on the door panels. The door guards stop this. I have recently purchased a second set so the doors are covered at all times. Thank you for this product !!

I bought these for my Manchester Terrier, he is about 30 lbs. I usually drive a Jetta and the guards are a little larger then my back doors. The plastic pieces are a little challenging to slide in the first time, but I don't think that is due to the product as it is the seal on the window/car. They work well at protecting the doors in the Jetta as well as my Tundra though the back tundra doors are a little larger than the door protectors, but it is better than nothing! I would buy them again. They are a thick canvas product and the pockets are good sized that I put my dogs leash and other items in i.e wipes to wipe his paws as I do not have seat covers and a towel to dry the paws if it is wet out and waste bags. Only down side i see is that they like to come up when you run the windows up, but this is a larger issue with my jetta then the tundra so perhaps it has to due with the tinted windows and the small decrease in space that the tint film creates?! all in all i like them and would get again.

Purchased a new car and needed something to protect the windows from our very active terrior. The door guards were easy to install and fit perfect. Our terrior thanks you now that he can ride in the back of the new car and look out.

So I bought two sets of car door guards for my brand spanking new car. First, they were challenging to install as the little plastic pieces, used to hole the guard in place, were difficult to insert into the window slit. With the window up, something interferes with the plastic pieces sliding all the way down. (One falls into place free and clear but the other two can not be secured. With the window down, the plastic pieces can be easily slide into place. Guards in place with the window down, happy dog in car, traveling 45 miles per hour, one of the guards flew out the window. I was able to retrieve it after dodging cars. Ugh! The next time, I jammed the plastic pieces into place with the window down and then rolled the window up so the guard would not blow away again and the plastic pieces scratched my new car's tinted windows like crazy. Super disappointed, out $$ and now have scratches on the window tinting of my new car.

What a great gift for my boyfriend this Christmas! He has a Titan full size truck and the guards fit the doors just perfectly. They look fantastic and our little pup now can enjoy looking at the window without getting yelled at for scratching the door!
Thanks Kurgo for a great product!
