I got two harnesses and they work really well. I would suggest a couple of modifications which others have also suggested. The carabiner on the end is extremely large....it makes it extremely difficult to connect to the standard ring on the dog collar. Also, a swivel is definitely necessary. I realize that a swivel is available in your store, but it costs almost the same as a harness. Substituting a standard swivel clip from the end of a dog leash in place of the carabiner would make this product perfect.

Works great keeping my puppy in place. Also easy to move to another car, if necessary

I really like this tether, but it needs a swivel. In a different review Kurgo says they have a swivel tether, but it's not the one that clips to the seatbelt buckle.
BEWARE, in my F-250 my Wheaten was stepping on the release button, and then the spring loaded buckle pops the tether out. Had to put a double piece of duct tape over the button, which solved the problem. It also doesn't fit my rear seat middle buckle, but some filing looks like it would fix that.

The Direct to Seat belt Tether is a very good product for back seat use to keep my Sheltie in place. A little more shortening adjustment would be nice as my dog is on the small side. I use this with a car harness that is close to six years old and show minimal signs of wear. I expect to be using the product for many more years before needing a replacement. I feel confident that my best friend is safe as possible and out of my lap when riding in the car with me. High quality product and good value.

This is a really nice option when travelling with a dog to hold him in place outside the crate. Funny thing my dachshund somehow unlatched it. Imagine the surprise we had when we got back to the car after a rest stop. Yes, it was strapped all the way on when we left him. He has not done it again since then, though. We really like it for holding him in place while loading and getting in and out of the car. My daughter has one for her dog and suggested it for us. We are very happy with it and would highly recommend this for any dog lover.

I've been using this product since January, and my Chocolate Lab will be able to occasionally pull the tether out of the seat belt.

Bought this as we are raising a German Shepard to be a future guide dog. She's 4 moths old and loves car rides. We needed a secure seat belt system for use in both our Chevy pickup and Audi A4. It's easy to use. I recommend a swivel at the top end (near the dog) to reduce the twisting of the strap as this results in the dog being pulled down tight to the seat.
Kurgo Note: Check out our Swivel Tether that solves this problem. http://www.kurgostore.com/barriers-and-containment/swivel-tether/

I have a large dog, Husky Shepherd mix. He seems to have plenty of room without getting tangled.
