Get a new view of the action
Have you always wondered what the world looked like from your best friend's point of view? Now you can find out. The Tru-Fit Harness with mount plate allows you to mount an active camera (GoPro®, Sony Action Cam, etc - not included) to your dog's back or chest.* Whether you're hiking, biking, hunting or just running around the dog park, the video camera can catch all the action. Our five-point adjustment system creates a perfect fit and great stability for the camera, reducing the jitters.
The harness is quick and easy to put on; simply slip it over your dog’s head and then clip the Quick Release Buckles around the midsection. The five different adjustments provide nearly a custom fit, and the chest pad makes sure that even if Fido misbehaves on the walk he can be controlled. Great style, functional and entertainment … you know you want one, and so does Fido!
*Mount Location by Camera Type:
• GoPro® - Chest and Back
• Sony Action Cam - Back only
Please note that the individual camera adhesive attachments are not included. The harness has flat aluminum areas to attach to.

Our dog is a little too big for medium and a little small for the large harness. Either way the sizing was bang-on for this product. I might want to make it a little more snug than how it comes but there are instructions on how to modify the harness. Here is the link to my first video. Kind of rough but I'm not a professional. Hope this review helps.

Size guide is a joke and Kurgo doesn't stand behind it's products
I have a 98 lb black lab, so i ordered an extra large harness, saying that it is for dogs 80 lbs and up.
The harness is to large for my lab and there isn't a way to adjust it any smaller because they didn't allow a smaller adjustment. now the camera flops around and the videos are pretty worthless. After numerous emails to Kurgo I was offered a replacement if my harness was returned unused. Hello! I had to glue mounts to the harness to make it work, so unused it isn't. I will simply never buy from Kurgo again, and I will make sure that all the members of my hunt club and my Pheasants Forever chapter know my feelings on Kurgo. All of this over a $35 harness eludes me. Standing behind your product and fixing a sizing problem is what a company should do. It's too bad Kurgo didn't do so

Chest mount works great. Back mount falls to side when dog runs. Product is very durable and high quality. Fix the back mount and say in the description that camera mounts are not included.

The chest mount is OK. However, the back mount is poorly designed. They should have made a hard/permanent connection where the chest straps cross the top of the back. The camera ALWAYS falls to either side when the dog moves. I will have my wife sew it together. I suspect this will fix it. If it doesn't, I still have the chest mount.

The chest camera mount is a great viewpoint for an action cam; the back mount is almost worthless, due to wobbling induced by dog's gait.

The harness is well-made and not too heavy but not too light either. It seems to be pretty tough and sturdy. I had read the reviews before purchasing and saw that it didn't come with the mounts and that was fine since I had some.
I have a nearly-70 pound labrador (chocolate, like the one in the picture) and I bought a Large size for her. It just doesn't fit her. The parts that go around her chest/belly are lengthened as much as possible and are still too tight, while the chest part is tightened as much as can be and is way too loose on her. I've fiddled and pulled and made sure it was on correctly but no luck. Because it's too tight on one end and too loose on the other, the camera when mounted on her back, tends to shift and slide around more than it should.
I can't attach it under her chin, either because, as I said, it's too loose. It hangs down (the harness) as though it were 2 sizes too big.
Other than that, it seems like a fine harness, it just doesn't fit the way it should.

I was surprised that there are no mounts, so had to burn some of my Gopro mounts, however they do have a good solid attachment point. I am still working through the harness, but all video so far are very very unstable. Side to side movement. I will try to make it more snug, but overall didn't perform the way I thought it would. I am not sure though that any mount would work just due to the movement of a 75 pound lab jumping through the water.

I absolutely love this harness! It took a bit for my chocolate lab to get use to it, but once he hit the water, he forgot all about it. While it doesn't come with mounts I was able to find what I needed and try it out. The footage was a bit wobby both under and over while he was running, however I think I need to tighten the harness a bit better and hopefully it will be fine. I prefer having the camera under as I like that perspective better.I'm so looking forward to taking this to the Cape this weekend and really spending some time with it.

I have to agree with John Tuckers review. What annoyed me the most are the missing mounts. At least it is now finally on the website. There are other harnesses but I went with Kurgo, since I am used to quality products. If I add the money I will have to spend on the mounts, that makes it quite expensive (I am using it for my dog for Search and Rescue). I am considering going with the other one and returning the one from you.
I really recommend that you might add some info on where to get the camera mounts, because that can be a challenge all by itself.

Great idea. Been looking for this product (or a way to create one) for months now.
-1 star on my review because I was not aware going through the product spec that it did not come with the camera mount clips. My harness came equipped with blank plates to put the clips on. I has already used up the ones that came with my camera so I had to purchase new ones. No big deal but I wish I had known, I would've ordered some mount accessories earlier.
After recording a lot of footage (playing in the house, walking down the street, at the beach, on and off leash) I can say that the footage taken with both perspectives (over and under) is very wobbly. My dog is an english bulldog and has essentially bobs sideways a lot when walking but with the added weight of the camera on top of the harness it just went out of control. Can't really use the footage (at least not walking or running). Thsi may not be an issue for your dog but for mine it certainly is.
