Love walking my Boxer with Kurgo's Harness

This harness allows me to have complete control over my Boxer during our walks. With me not being the strongest person, this is important to me! It is very well made and sturdy. Not only do I love walking my dog with this harness, but it also looks great on my dog. And of course, the additional clip to provide car safety is a plus also!

This is a well made product . I bought it for my 10 week old Springer Spaniel puppy who is 11 lbs. The size Small was the right size for her and there is plenty of room to adjust it to make it bigger as she grows. She probably will outgrow it within 6-8 months and I'll probably get the same one again in the Medium. My only small criticism of the product is the weight of it. It seems to be a lot of weight for such a small dog to haul around, and the weight of it doubles when you attach the strap with the big buckle (the piece that connects the harness to the seatbelt strap. For that reason I leave the heavy connector piece in the car, attached to the seatbelt when I take her out of the car.

I wasn't sure about getting the harness for my dog but I knew I wanted them safe in the car. This harness is far superior to the one I first bought at a well known pet store! I love the metal fasteners; they are very easy to fasten. I have peace of mind knowing my dog is secured in the car and the red harness is quite classy on my black and white Border Collie!

This is the third Kurgo Harness I've purchased. I have one for both my dogs and I use them for transporting foster dogs. They are well made and the design is fabulous. I recently sent one of my foster dogs to his forever home wearing a kurgo harness because there were seven different cars he was being transported in to his new home and I wanted to know he'd be safe. The travel loop makes for easy handling. They are the perfect travel harness and I really like that the chest is padded.

Saved my dog from injury

I bought the car harnesses for my two Goldens a few years ago. One is very good in the car but after a sudden stop while only going 5 mph sent my 90 dog flying. The other one needs to be restrained as to not interfere with my driving. They have used these harnesses for years a fortunately have not had an incident until last September. I was rear-ended on an eight lane highway, it was quite an impact and totaled my car. Fortunately, Kirby was sleeping in the back seat with her head on the arm rest between the front seats. She hardly felt the impact and it was more of a gentle nudge then a jolt. She was not harmed (could have flown into the windshield) and not even upset by the accident. My cat was in her carrier in the front passenger seat (with the seatbelt through the handle) all she did was slide when the seat belt retracted and up ended her carrier. I got the biggest jolt (my glasses flew off my face) but my seat belt did its job too. We were all fine. After bringing home a new rescue the first thing I ordered for her was her car harness. I will never let any of them ever ride in the car with out it. This is a terrific product and I have become a bigger advocate since last September. I tell every one - to get a Kurgo car harness. Better then a crate-she would've been injured in a crate. Get one, your dog will thank you.

I was shopping for a harness and found this. I liked that it was designed for car restraint also. Quality was great and its very easy to put on. The only problem I had was with the car attachment, My dog started chewing on it and got half way through before I noticed, I had it fixed and then slid a piece of rubber hose around it to protect it.

We have 2 larger dogs that are very strong "pullers". As a result, they have "escaped" from their collars and other brands of harnesses before. Kurgo has been the only harness that has been strong and durable enough to save them from themselves:) Kurgo products are far superior in material and workmanship - for virtually the same price as other brands. We will NEVER buy another brand!

It took me many years before I purchased any type of car harness for my dogs. When my husband and I were making a cross country trip a year ago I knew it was time to not let the dogs loose in the vehicle. Why it took me this long to realize the way I was traveling them in the car was not safe I can not explain. But after researching and finding they had the tru-fit in the xsmall I ordered 3 of them and have been traveling with the dogs in their harnesses ever since. I have 2 car seats and when they put their harnesses on they jump in and are excited to go for a ride. The harness has the perfect fit, is high quality and worth the purchase. Another plus is they fit well also if you need to stop while on the road, just attach their leash and no worries about changing to another collar.

I went looking to replace a harness that clipped under the chest. One of the buckles on it had broken, but it never really fit well. I bought a Kurgo leash about 6 weeks ago,primarily because it looked really nice, but I liked it so much (very functional) that I sought out a Kurgo harness. $30.00 in Canada, but well worth it. Thanks Kurgo!

When my mother-in-law's dog came to live with us I said we had to get her a harness from Kurgo like the one we've been using with our puppy Ella since she was three months old (now two years old!) Now Shadow has her own Kurgo and she loves it. It's is superior to all other harnesses we have tried. comfortable and easy to use. We love it. The dogs love it! And that's what matters.
